Where lifestyle takes the lead. The Wybe Catalog captures the mood of the moment, style, energy and conversations. This week Aaron takes us into the power of blank clothes.

When building your wardrobe, blanks are essential! There isn’t enough hype around a good blank, whether that be a hoodie, t-shirt, pants, or even a hat. To break it down, a blank consists of a piece of clothing that contains no type of graphic design on it, typically used as a layering piece or a piece you add when you don’t want to overcrowd your outfit. Now finding good blanks is hard, but worth the search, and here are three clothing stores, ranging from high to low, that are perfect if you want to start your blank collection.
COS is in the higher range of beautifully structured blanks. These blanks are made from 70% cotton and 30% viscose, resulting in a heavy but comfortable fabric. The way these sit and fit on the body will make you feel like a model, and as well if you are a brand-specific person, the brand-conscious dresser, COS delivers minimalist luxury that justifies the investment.
UNIQLO might be the sweet spot, which might be my personal favorite. This brand offers a variety of blanks across all clothing styles and is lowkey the perfect brand for good-quality, well-priced clothing. Especially if we are speaking about everyday essentials, these are comfy 101, and I recommend it if you're for a brand that feels personal and caters to your every need. If you’re building a wardrobe rooted in essentials, UNIQLO is the quiet powerhouse that does it right.
Fashion Nova has long dominated the fast-fashion space, offering constant discounts and trend-driven inventory; however, the quality will vary as time progresses. There is a wide selection of statement pieces, styles, and sizes for blanks, which makes it easier to check out compared to the other two brands stated. However, if you are looking for longevity within these clothing items, there isn’t a guarantee that these hold up to COS and Uniqlo, which is based on the basis of you get what you pay for.

In Case You Missed It

For years, investing carried a certain image: older men in tailored suits, speaking in complex financial jargon inside glass boardrooms. But that narrative no longer reflects reality. Today, investing is more accessible, digital, and youth-driven than ever before.
At its core, investing simply means putting your money into assets that have the potential to grow over time. Stocks represent shares of ownership in a company. When that company performs well, the value of your shares can increase. Index funds, on the other hand, group multiple stocks together, allowing investors to spread their risk across an entire market rather than relying on a single company. For beginners, index funds are often considered a steady and practical entry point.
Cryptocurrency has also entered the conversation. Built on blockchain technology, crypto offers high growth potential but comes with greater volatility. It is important to approach it with caution and long-term strategy.
Across The Bahamas, young professionals are beginning to shift from simply earning income to building wealth. The modern investor does not need a suit, just knowledge, discipline, and a willingness to start.

The Pressure to Be “That Friend” Who Has It All Together
Every friend group has one. The calm one. The reliable one. The one who gives the best advice, remembers everyone’s birthdays, sends the “are you home safe?” text, and somehow never seems to fall apart. Being “that friend” can feel like a badge of honor, until it starts to feel like a burden.
The pressure to always be emotionally available is heavy. You become the safe space for everyone else, but rarely feel like you’re allowed to be messy, confused, or overwhelmed. When you’re known as the strong one, vulnerability can feel out of character. So you hold it in. You show up polished. You fix. You pour. And quietly, you run on empty.
What makes it harder is that people don’t mean harm. They trust you. They admire you. But admiration can accidentally turn into expectation. The unspoken rule becomes: you don’t break down. You don’t spiral. You don’t need saving.
The truth? Even the strong friend needs softness. Even the listener needs to be heard. Strength isn’t about never struggling, it’s about allowing yourself to be human.
You don’t have to have it all together to be valuable. And sometimes, the strongest thing you can do is admit that you don’t.
