What’s the one movie or TV show you could watch over and over again without getting tired?
Modern Family, Scandal and Greys Anatomy have been watched over 7 times each soooo hard to choose one.

If you could play any character from a movie or play, who would it be and why?
Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn seemed fun to play.

What’s your go-to comfort food after a long day of rehearsals?
Curry makes me happy.

If you had a superpower for a day, what would it be, and how would you use it?
I’d probably choose invisibility. And spend the day doing little things to people to make them feel like they’re going crazy; or making them look crazy.

Whats a hidden talent or quirky skill you have that people might be surprised to learn about?
I can say my ABCs backwards. And I can listen to two conversations at once and respond to both.

Are you more of a night owl or an early bird when working on creative projects?
I’d say I’m a night owl when it comes to my work. My energy and creativity really sparks when the sun is gone.

If you could have dinner with any famous actor, director, or playwright (living or not), who would it be?
Shonda Rhimes is a screenwriter technically but she’s the only name that came to mind. I’d have a lot of hurt feelings at that dinner, but definitely would want to learn mostly.

What’s the most embarrassing or funny thing that’s happened to you during a performance or rehearsal?
During shooting, we got a place that had a rat. We heard the noises and then the guys went to “investigate” and it ran out of the room and into another. Grown adults jumping and screaming at a tiny creature will always be hilarious, but the icing on the cake was when my set designer Darrol tried to scare us. So, as we were trying to deal with the rat in one room, he was in another room hiding in the dark to jump scare us. But as we let the rat out, it ran into that room over his foot and he ended up being the one jumping and screaming.

If your life was a movie, what would the title be?
“Silent Victories”. I have a bad habit of not mentioning or speaking on my accomplishments once I’ve completed them. I’m learning to celebrate myself more.

What’s one song that always gets you pumped up before a performance or big event?
These days it’s “L’amour de ma vie” by Billie Eilish; the extended version.

Quote of the week

The tagline for this film: No Body Is Leaving The Same As They Came

A group of friends get together for a pre-wedding reunion that descends into a psychological nightmare for them once an estranged friend arrives with a mysterious suitcase connected to an enigmatic game. As they play it awakens long-hidden secrets, desires and grudges that may have life altering to fatal consequences for everyone who has consented to participate.

It's What's Inside takes the tropes of a body swapping movie to new heights or maybe I should say new depths of emotional manipulation within this narrative. Writer Director Greg Jardin presents an existential thriller that he calls, ' anxiety chiq.' The youthful cast is able to establish their characters quickly which allows the viewer to play the game of who is really who when the intrigue gets going to great effect. The interesting choices in camera angles, lighting and colors from scene to scene with snappy editing help to keep the pacing of the story fast with a reveal around the end that makes you want to rewatch the movie to fully understand what happened.

I rate this motion picture a 4 out of 5 ‘Excellent‘

Located on Guana Cay, Abaco, there are two main bars and restaurants: Nippers and Grabbers. Locals usually have their favorite, but for those of us visiting on the weekend for a quick getaway to party and relax, here are a few tips on both spots.

Sunday Funday is the biggest day on the cay, attracting boaters from near and far to unwind and enjoy the beach, drinks, and food. The first stop for many (based on my observation) is Nippers, where you can grab food, drinks, and enjoy the pool or the beach. The menu offers typical bar fare, but I highly recommend the fish burger! Their nachos are also a great option if you’re with friends and want a sharing plate. Nippers has a signature drink called the “Nipper,” which I haven’t tried personally, but they do offer an extensive list of specialty mixed drinks that I have sampled—and they didn’t disappoint.

Just down the road is Grabbers, where the music is better, there are two bars, a conch salad stand on the dock, and in my opinion, better food. While they serve the usual bar staples, their lobster bites (when in season) are a real treat, and the chicken, shrimp, or lobster quesadillas are amazing. I would also recommend their seafood pizza that is overpacked with seafood. My personal favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich. They also have a house drink called the “Grabber,” and after about two cups, I can guarantee you’ll feel it! You can enjoy it either frozen or on the rocks, which is a nice touch. Both spots are worth a visit, and no matter the order you choose, each offers a unique vibe to enjoy!

Tesla CEO Elon Musk unveiled ambitious plans for a future filled with robotaxis and self-driving vehicles. At a glitzy event in California, Musk introduced designs for Tesla’s new robotaxi, the Cybercab, and a larger vehicle called the Robovan. These futuristic vehicles feature sleek, metallic designs with no steering wheels or pedals, aiming for a driverless experience.

However, Musk’s timeline has been met with skepticism, given Tesla’s track record of delayed targets. Investors remain cautious, with Tesla shares dropping after the event. Despite this, Musk promises a future filled with autonomous vehicles within the next few years.

Free apps dominate the tech world, offering everything from social media to games, productivity tools, and entertainment at no cost. But as the saying goes, “If you’re not paying for the product, you are the product.” Behind the convenience and entertainment that free apps provide lies a hidden cost — your personal data.

Most free apps collect vast amounts of data from users. This can include everything from your browsing habits and location to your contacts, photos, and even microphone or camera access. Many users consent to this without realizing it, accepting lengthy terms of service agreements without fully understanding the implications.

But why do these apps need your data? The simple answer is monetization. Companies behind free apps often make their money by selling user data to advertisers or third-party firms. They create detailed user profiles, which allow for hyper-targeted advertising. This is why, after browsing for a specific product online, you suddenly see ads for similar products popping up on your social media feed.

While targeted advertising can seem harmless, the deeper concern is privacy. The more data these companies have, the more they know about you — from your shopping preferences to your daily routines. In the worst cases, some apps have been found to share data with less reputable sources, risking your privacy and security.

Moreover, free apps have also been linked to security vulnerabilities, as hackers often target them to steal sensitive user information. The low cost of free apps can result in cutting corners when it comes to safeguarding user data.

Before downloading your next free app, consider the true cost. Is your privacy worth giving away in exchange for a bit of entertainment or convenience? Awareness is key, so stay informed and protect your data.
