What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Stop comparing myself to others and what others are doing. This advice has been crucial in my career, especially when doubt creeps in. Just knowing that I am enough and believing in my own talents has made a big difference.”
Who are your biggest inspirations or role models?
“My grandmother taught me unconditional love and perseverance. My father showed me the power of music and the importance of staying true to myself. My mother taught me about fashion, manners, and humility. These three people are my forever inspiration.”
What’s a typical day like for you?
“My days are spent promoting and creating music, thanks to my home studio setup. When I’m not in the studio, I enjoy unwinding with reality TV shows or diving into Fortnite and Minecraft on YouTube.”
If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be?
“Samoht, Alton Mason, and The Rock.”
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
“To choreograph and design a set performance at Coachella, whether for myself or another artist.”
What’s your go-to quote or mantra that keeps you motivated?
“At the end of the day, it is night! This mantra reminds me that everything is temporary unless I allow it to grow in my heart.”
What is a fun fact about yourself that most people don’t know?
“A fun fact about me that even my relatives don’t know is that I was in a movie.”
Can you share 4 images of yourself that sums up your personality?

Wybe Magazine Exclusive
On assignment for Wybe Magazine, I had the delightful opportunity to attend the opening event of the 3rd Annual Grand Bahama Restaurant Fest.
For the past few years, the Visit Grand Bahama Island Tourism Board, along with some of Grand Bahama’s best restaurants, has released “prix fixe” menus, with the festival running throughout the entire month of August. True to our rich seafood heritage, many of these menus often highlight the beloved lobster, especially since August 1st marks the official start of lobster season in The Bahamas. The restaurant fest menus are usually versatile, featuring different Bahamian-inspired cuisines and offering a delicious three-course experience—appetizer, entrée, and dessert—all at a wonderfully affordable price.
This year, however, brought an exciting change. Instead of a month-long affair, the festival only ran for a vibrant two weeks (ending August 17th) . The opening event at Port Lucaya Marketplace was a spectacular celebration, filled with activities like wine tastings, free food samples, a live cooking demonstration, entertainment, and even face painting for the kids.
If you missed this year’s Grand Bahama Restaurant Fest, don’t worry—there’s always next year so make sure to mark your calendar and follow their Instagram. As a passionate food blogger from Grand Bahama, I can only hope this festival continues to grow, becoming even bigger and better with each passing year. In the meantime, you can catch all the highlights by checking out my vlog of the opening event coming soon on our Instagram and Facebook, follow us so you don’t miss it.

Instagram is testing a vertical profile grid, replacing the traditional squares with vertical rectangles. This change reflects the platform's shift towards vertical content, such as 4:3 photos and 9:16 videos. Instagram's chief, Adam Mosseri, acknowledges the potential frustration for users who have carefully curated their grid layouts, but emphasizes the need to better accommodate modern content formats. The test is currently limited to a small group, with feedback being collected before any broader rollout. If successful, this update could significantly alter how users present their profiles, making vertical visuals the new standard.

Gaming in the Bahamas isn’t just a pastime anymore, it’s a whole movement. And if you’re sleeping on it, you’re about to miss a major cultural shift. Bahamian youth have taken their love for gaming and flipped it into something serious, with eSports becoming the latest obsession.
Leading the charge is the Caribbean Ultimate Legends Tournament (C.U.L.T.), the squad that’s putting the 242 on the map in the competitive gaming world. Whether it’s Street Fighter or Tekken, these tournaments are bringing out the best of the best, and the competition is fierce. But C.U.L.T. is more than just a gaming hub—it’s a whole vibe, building a community that’s redefining what gaming looks like in the Caribbean.
And if you think that’s where the story ends, think again. Baha Mar’s Game Zone is where it’s really popping off. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill arcade; it’s a futuristic gaming paradise. Picture gammers going head-to-head in Mortal Kombat, trash talk in full swing, all while plotting their takeover of the global gaming scene.
For a lot of young Bahamians, gaming isn’t just a way to pass the time—it’s a legit career move. With the eSports industry booming worldwide, local gamers are eyeing opportunities way beyond the islands. Whether they’re streaming, competing internationally, or even creating their own games, the hustle is real.
So, if you’re still out here thinking gaming is just for kids, it’s time to wake up. The Bahamas is ready to make waves on the global gaming stage, and trust me, this is just the beginning.
